We are extremely excited for this spring as it will be our best yet as a program. We have lined up GREAT facilities in Marymount University field turf and Potomac School bermuda fields for all of our practices. Spring elite lacrosse in the greater DC area continues to evolve and Madlax is once again a leader and a strong option for outstanding boys lacrosse players ages U11, U13 and U15 who want to have a positive experience. Register Here Today.
Although we do a lot in March as a program, the "real" games season does not start until April so we will allow players to join us at any point. We will have rolling tryouts all season. We want the best players no matter when they join our program so register as normal and then email Coach Maddux if you have questions or need more details.

2010 Spring Philosophy and Plan:
Are you one of the better players on your town A team? If so, Team MADLAX is for you. You can represent the Greater DC area on a regional elite team that competes at the highest youth level in the country. We see these spring leagues as an elite option for the best boys players in the DC Metro area at the U11, U13 and U15 level. We want to attract advanced players who will take advantage of outstanding Madlax coaching and enjoy the experience. After you make one of our teams we really hope you continue with our club year around as much as possible but especially in the summer which is our main and most competive and fun season. CASE (Character, Attitude, Success, Effort) will be emphasized all season to the players. These Madlax teams are also for those wanting greater competition as we will play against some of the region's best teams. So you know playing in the spring for Madlax gives you an advantage at tryouts for our summer teams which are always some of the country's best (recently ranked 6th best in the nation). Our teams will enable you to improve faster as you are playing with and against excellent players from other youth leagues on an elite all-star team.
We plan to create three Madlax Orange (AA) teams to compete in the NPYLL-National Premier Youth lacrosse League and two Madlax Blue (A) teams to compete in the BSLL- Bethesda Select Lacrosse League. We will have one U11 Team, two U13 teams and two U15 teams total. We also plan to attend a pre-season tournaments as well. These teams will practice together by age group 1-3 times a week all spring. All games will be on Sundays and/or late Saturday afternoons. Madlax spring teams can be in place of or in addition to your town/rec league team. Madlax spring teams will combine elite players already in our program from the summer and fall 2009 with new advanced players. We welcome new players as always to tryout each season! All past and new players must attend tryouts so we can decide if you make the orange (AA) or blue (A) team for your age. Returning players from summer 2009 are still guaranteed roster slots on a team. We plan to take 18-24 players on each spring league team roster.

2009 Spring Re-caps:

Coach Dico lead his team to an exciting 4-3 win over an excellent Club Blue team. The Super Rookies Orange lost a heartbreaker in 2OT to Club Blue on Saturday in the Semi-Finals in an incredibly hard fought game. The Rookies Orange lost to the eventual Champs, The Crabs, in a semi-final game on Saturday as well.
Once again, congratulations to ALL Spring Madlax Orange teams for making NPYLL playoffs and finishing in the Top 4 out of 8 teams per division! Once again Madlax All-Stars have proven that even without many practices we are one of the best teams in the region. In the summer when we practice and have mini-camps we even get stronger. See you this summer when we always get the most talented kids trying out, have the most competitive teams, attract the best coaches, and attend four exciting team tournaments with every team. It is an amazing experience and REALLY fun. Being on the spring team gives you a massive advantage in making a summer team but you still must register and tryout in early June after this spring season.
